I'll start with the apology. The school year ended. We had the church's 75th anniversary and hosted Presbytery. Kevin and I took a mini-vacation, my mom came to visit. and and and.... Basically, life happened and a month went by. However, I know feel my breath is caught and I can attempt to post some.
T-Ball, which has been done for most of the month, went great this year. Like last year, Kevin coached Hannah's team and we just all had a ball! (get it, ball? I'm so funny!) Most of the team was the same, which Abby and I really enjoyed because it meant that T-Ball nights were hang out with friends nights. Abby never really watched a game because she was much too busy playing with a posse of her "bestest friends" (she throws that word around like crazy, I think you just need to be under 4 to have it applied to you). Hannah did very well, I don't think I caught her picking flowers once! Can't say she is an energetic fielder, but she likes to hit and is getting a pretty decent throw (she can tag the person she is playing catch with more often then not).
Isn't she a power hitter?

Even in T-Ball, she remains true to her first love, dance. Check out those socks! (and yes, that was all her--I kept trying to tell her you don't wear high socks with capris, but she obviously didn't care.)

Finding time to smile for the camera while fielding.

We were sad to have T-Ball end, but excited for the adult softball league to start up! Adult softball was something Kevin had been wanting to start for 2 years and this year did with a friend, a guy named Kevin. The Kevins were shocked with 11 teams signed up to play! So, for the rest of the summer, our Tuesday nights are filled up softball games, much to Kevin's (and, I say quietly, mine) delight.
